In February 2014, thanks to Grundtvig Assistantship Programme, Erika Daniene was our host. She was born in Vilnius, capital of Lithuania, and in addition to discover the beauty of spilingese territory, she contributed actively to the cultural growth of our association.
With her help ICRE could learn the European project development procedures with the Erasmus + Programme. During her stay, our association has presented two projects. The first, reported in the key action KA1, was in charge of the development of organizational capacity of ICRE staff. The second, related to the key action KA2, was in charge of strategic partnerships. The latter, titled “EMPOWERING COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS WITH KEY COMPETENCES AND SKILLS” would cause ICRE join forces with countries such as Lithuania and Poland.
Throughout the period of the Grundtvig Assistantship, Erika has had many meetings with the members of ‘ICRE, creating the basis for the preparation of two seminars that were held in the territory of Spilinga. The May 28, 2014, Erika held at the headquarters of the CSV (Centre for Voluntary Service) of Vibo Valentia an information seminar on Erasmus + which was attended by many representatives of different associations (voluntary or not) of the province of Vibo.
All ICRE members thank Erika for the valuable contribution he has made to the group and hopefully in other future collaborations.
